No matter if you’re a working person or not, you can still agree that the one moment we all eagerly wait for the entire day is bedtime; a time to have a peaceful, sound sleep. But don’t hop into bed without taking proper care of your skin and hair.
Our skin is exposed to the external environmental pollutants all day long, which can harm your skin in the form of acne breakouts, excessive oily, or dry skin, and dead skin cells build up, if not cleaned properly. Start by removing your makeup with an oil-based or a water-based cleanser. After cleansing, wash it with warm water, apply a toner and follow with a moisturizer. You can use a facial serum too. People who tend to have extremely dry skin use both. After moisturizing your skin properly, apply eye cream and lip balm to prevent eye wrinkles and chapped lips, and you’re all done with your skincare.
Then comes the hair care! Start by detangling your hair gently. Don’t ever hustle and start detangling it from the roots. This will make the tangles go worse. Go easy on your hair and slowly detangle it from the ends all the way up to the roots. Take a few drops of warm oil and go on massaging your head for a few minutes. Protip: Use your fingertips to massage, or get a hair massager. Don’t use your nails, ever. A good trick to have a good, soothing massage is to use the Inversion Method. Flip down your hair standing, or sitting on a chair and gently massage.
After you’re done massaging, use a moisturizing leave-in product to nourish your hair while you sleep. You can use GK Hair Argan Oil Serum as well. Fortified with Juvexin and Argan Oil, this serum locks in moisture, smoothes out frizz, and adds lustrous shine to your hair without weighing it down. Tie your hair in a loose braid or a loose bun, and you’re all prepped up to have a good sleep.
